I'm a sucker for enemies to friends, and Malevolent preys on that at length. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy it still and the character growth that happens despite some of the mechanics designed around viewers making votes still stands up.
From the first season, the production has grown vastly with quality and work in sound effects and acting!
My favorite aspects are the moments where Arthur and John share with each other their past and feelings- which sounds fairly mundane- but if it were not for the contrast that they struggle through, it makes these moments the sweetest. Like being touch starved for a moments peace and wanting to see these characters sheltered from their cruel fate.
I give one less star because I can't get the idea of someone taking all the audio clips of 'jesus christ, Arthur!' and play them to Jacques Offenbach's 'Can Can' just because of how much it gets used.
